Windows XP Support Until 2014
May 7, 2008 | Microsoft | Comments OffThere are many rumor on the net which said Microsoft will not be available anymore on the stores and it’s mean it will no longer support. But Microsoft has calm down the rumor which Windows XP support will be available until 2014.

Jared Proudfoot one of the managers from Microsoft’s support lifecycle group has said “Recently, there have been a number of posts in the blogosphere about Windows XP and the upcoming end of direct OEM and retail license availability” he also added “Some people are interpreting this as the end of support for Windows XP“
The security update will be offer until 8 April 2014 which mean Windows XP will be 13 years old until the support end. For me it’s a good news because I still using Windows XP service pack 2 rather than Windows Vista. It’s more lighter and more compatible with most of the software.
