Windows XP Professional Black Edition

When I search on the net, I found Windows XP Professional Black Edition with Vista Style. It said the Black Edition requires less memory from your system add some programs.

There are many fix and upgrade like added more cool games like Black Jack, Tetris, Bricks, Pong, Command Launcher and many more. Fixed version number in Add-Remove Programs, minor RegDLL, improve installation process, added Vista Calculator and reive info gadgets and many more.

I don’t know it is from original Microsoft or crack from someone who able to modify the Windows Source code. Anyway I like the style of XP Black Edition.

   I’ve heared there are virus/trojans included, so be warned! I’ve left it downloading, and it should be finished when i get back from work tonight. It looks nice, but what i don’t understand is why they have taken things out of the orginal XP, to make it faster, then add crap to it such as the Vista toolbar. which would just steal most of the CPU ussage. :s

   I’ve used it. It is very nice. All vista features work except “Vista Search”. No Viruses, No Trojans. It works better and faster than a normal XP install. Praise the Pirates.

   Hmmm… It is not a release from Microsoft to answer your question. Its a modded version of xp. If you want a genuine version go and buy one. This O/S however offer’s advantages such as drivers for almost everything, Windows without the glitches so you dont need to use windows update and requires less memory from your system. How? Some geek redid it and posted it for you to download or not download. Your choice. I have used this O/S on over 30 different machines and only two I had to install a driver. It did not have the driver for wifi. It however had my printer’s driver. Like with all programs, we download them if they fit our needs. No one said it was the best windows, but it fits my needs, made my life a little easier, and is my favorite. All machines I installed Black XP on had original versions of windows. This xp will also work on Vista machines aswell.

   You mentioned something about the stupid Vista toolbar. Well like with all windows, If you dont want the tool ar on then turn it off. If you dont like the them then change it. I can tell you however that the tool bar on black dont slows up the machine as how it does in vista or vista themes.

   Black is a illegal copy. it has removed several of the registry problems/keys so make it smaller, replaced and added drivers, and has tons of programs included. downside is that the keys and cracks for the programs Trojans (the majority do), and a few of the programs actually slow down windows. so all in all you get normal xp with, alot more programs, with no real noticeable change in speed

    Black Edition is forcing me to use it’s default Admin login. I want to enable user logins but it’s not letting me do so. I can add users but when I add a password to the Admin user and reboot, it tries to login as Admin with no password and takes forever to prompt me for a user to login as. Forever means over 10-15 minutes. NOT GOOD. Does anyone know how to enable user login and get rid of the problem I’m having? How do I change the bootup from loggin in automatically as Admin with no password? do I change a file somewhere or what?
