But before you buy it, please consider 5 think reason and also the explanation from Gigaom.

    1. Use of the netbook
If you want as a second laptop, the netbook can be installed Windows XP OS and also can work like surfing on the internet, check email, word processing, spreadsheet and if you need more power, you can add more RAM which can increase the speed around 20-30%.

    2. The small keyboard of the netbook
As you know, the netbook have small keyboard rather than notebook. If you really want to buy the netbook, you must consider the tolerance of your finger when type on the netbook. Make sure to have the proper netbook which can be tolerate your finger.

    3. The small screen and resolution of the netbook
The netbook is design for mobile user which is thin and the screen also small. The smallest screen of the netbook on the market is 4.8 inch screen and it’s really small!! Also some of the netbook only have small resolution 800×480 pixel and it useless I think. So make sure you get the largest screen size 10’2 inch netbook with resolution 1024×600 pixel which is the best view and comfortable for your eyes.

    4. The extended battery of the netbook
Some people said is not important of the battery life but some of you really need the lifetime of the battery. Usually the netbook have 3-cell or 6-cell of batteries. The batteries life can be short or long life depend on your application has been running. It can be 2 hours or longer. If you really consider for the battery life, make sure to have 6-cell batteries and if you need an extra battery as a backup you can buy it but it will get heavier on your gear bag.

    5. Windows OS addicted for the netbook
Usually the netbook is not packed with Windows OS, just shipped using Linux OS. But most of people more familiar with Windows OS. So make sure you buy the netbook with Windows OS and I suggest XP Home/Pro rather than Vista.
