Test Your Internet Speed
June 25, 2007 | Software | 2 CommentsToday I found in forum digitalpoint how to test your internet speed. There are alot of tools on internet how to test the speed of internet but I choose speedtest.net.
They have a lot of server in the world and we can test from their recommended test place. After go to speedtest.net, they detect our location and pick one of the best recommended test place. Usually the recommended place with yellow pyramid. Click it and see the result.
I like their speed test speedometer and here is my speedtest result.
My provider said they provide 64 kbps internet connection upload and download 1:1. When I see the result download: 60 kb/s and upload: 54 kb/s with latency 254 ms. But compare with TOP 5 internet connection, my connection still below of them. Maybe they will laugh if I compare my test speed with them.
It’s an average since there’s no the fix result for the test but exactly it’s still on their promise to give us 64 kbps. They still keep their promise
