Sony has been released the VAIO branded CR-Series notebook PC in Korea market which adopt Intel Centrino Duo processor with 4 different luminance color including luxury pink, pure white, blazing red and indigo blue.

The silver frame and luminous trim is the CR power design notebook with feature pulsating LED which reflected what the notebook is doing, glow and fades simultaneously. Sony VAIO CR Series also offer InstantOn function with built-in speaker and 1.3 mega pixel camera on the top of display. It’s also provided 3 USB slots, SD card reader, S video port and cooling system.

The Sony VAIO SD Series will be available on the end of July or beginning August 2007 without pricing comment yet.

Extra Ordinary Colors Sony VAIO CR Series

Sony release VAIO FZ Series with code name VGN-FZ180E/B. It’s really slim and lightest 1.5 inch notebook compare with Apple’s MacBook popular portable. With 5.8 pound this laptop has packing with Blue-ray drive, brightest screen on the machine.

Sony create the art of VAIO FZ with magnesium -alloy, reshape the batteries and redesigning the layput of the motherboard. The engineer create the easily Vista powered notebook with silver and black color scheme. The minimalist media control arrange in the small circle above the keyboard. The keyboard looks flat at first time but have a good tactile feedback with 2 relative small touchpad button.

The VAIO FZ technology bring from Sony Bravia version with 1280 x 800 pixel screen it’s deliver superb color saturation and high brightness. The sound from stereo speaker above the keyboard also make me impressive.

With addition of Blue-ray drive, Sony VAIO FZ include a huge 200 GB storage (4200 rpm), 3 USB 2.0 port, a firewire, expresscard slot, and both memory stick and SD Card slot. A VGA motion eye webcam located above the screen and it can be record sharp look video using the slick VAIO capture utility.

Power by Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GHz T7300 processor ( 800 MHz FSB and 2 GB RAM), VAIO FZ get highest score at PCMark 2005 (4,626). The notebook also has a great graphic card. NVidia GForce 8400M GT get wll above average with 3DMark2003 (5,621) and get 85 fps when playing F.E.A.R in autodetect mode. Intel 802.11n connection deliver a strong throughput 17Mbps.
