Samsung Electronics and Sony Corporation today announced that on a treaty establishing a new 8-generation amorphous TFT-LCD production line at their joint venture S-LCD Corporation.

S-LCD, founded in April 2004, began its 7th Operation online generation April 2005 and its first generation 8 online exploitation August 2007 on the manufacture and delivery TFT-LCD panels from Samsung and Sony.
