Liscio weighs only 60 grams and measures for the 90 x 35 x 18mm. Compare that with 91 grams and 44 x 106 x 12mm for the popular Nokia 6300, or 128 grams Nokia N95 8GB.

The screen is a 1.1 “96 x 96 pixels, OLED screen, and there are no digital camera on the back. As you can probably expect a phone ultralight, which does not support Liscio 3G, WLAN, or GPS. There is no mention of data or take over a Web browser, while the small screen is not really suited for Web access.

Liscio The duration of the battery is better than you might think, for such a small phone, and this is no doubt partly to energy efficiency OLED screen. 730 mAH The battery can be charged up to 3 hours of talktime, 8 days on standby and 11 hours of music playback.

The Liscio has an MP3 player, FM radio, Bluetooth, 128 MB of internal memory and a microSD slot (currently with a 1GB card supplied as standard), and USB 2.0 connectivity easy-to-use Media keys. The Liscio comes with a stereo headset with wire in the box, and it also supports Bluetooth stereo.

The Onyx Liscio is designed for a second phone, and it is sold only as a free-SIM from the aircraft at about £ 130 in the UK telephony Bluetooth. The same phone can also be found, such as music Mivvy for approximately € 135 under Mivvy to customers in Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

O2 has been design unusual and attractive clam shell phone in the UK during August. It’s name Cocoon with very elegant look handset with highly specified device.

The chassis of O2 Cocoon has hidden display panel with large LED-style letter. It’s like Sony Ericsson Z610i concept which external display can show track information, caller ID and other messages.

When ypu open the O2 Cocoon, the minimalist design continue inside of it with uncluttered layout. Feature wih QVGA (240x 320 pixel) display with autofocus 2 megapixel camera. There are also a MP3 player, FM radio with RDS, expanded memory until 2GB with mini SD card. The keypad is pretty simple with media control and discretely mounted on the outside. Cocoon also come with web broser and email client.

Other feature which make Cocoon clever it’s called the ‘nest’. It’s just a docking station with built in charger but turn the Cocoon into desktop MP3 player/radio/alarm clock. It’s very cool!!

The O2 Cocoon will be release August 2007 in UK market but the pricing is not known at present. [ Via mobilegazette ]

Nokia 6085 is an inexpensive clamshell phone with expandable memory and an MP3 player. It’s a pretty disappointing mix of components that appear to have been thrown together.

Nokia have revise a fairly standard overall look that we’ve seen in other 6000 series clamhshells, and then added a low end 128×160 pixel display and VGA resolution camera. The Nokia 6085 comes with a microSD slot, FM radio, Bluetooth and an MP3 player and usefully it is a quad-band GSM phone.

The screen on the Nokia 6085 is a particular gripe – 128×160 pixels is just not good enough for any modern phone, although at least it is a TFT display so it should be sharp and clear. The VGA resolution camera seems hardly worh including.

Nokia 6085 specification:
Network: GSM 850/900/1800/1900
Data: GPRS + EDGE
Screen: 128×160 pixels, 256k colours
Camera: 0.3 megapixels
Size: Compact clamshell, 92×46x23mm / 84 grams
Bluetooth: Yes
Memory card: microSD
Infra-red: No
Polyphonic: Yes
Java: Yes
Battery life: 5 hours talk / 10 days standby

It’s quite a light phone – the Nokia 6085 weighs just 84 grams – and the quoted battery life is pretty good too, with up to 5 hours talktime and 10 days standby time.

The Nokia 6085 has some good features, but overall it looks like it has be thrown together from a set of components from other handsets. There’s nothing particularly inspiring or distinctive about the 6085, but if you’re looking for a low-cost, lightweight clamshell that can play music and you’re not too fussed about other features, then perhaps the 6085 will be what you are looking for.

Carrying the XpressMusic name, the Nokia 5300 looks great, especially with the clever dedicated multimedia keys, but ultimately it’s a pretty standard handset roughly analogous to the Nokia 6131 clamshell. There’s a QVGA 240×320 pixel TFT display, a 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD memory expandable to 2Gb, Bluetooth, a stereo FM radio and an MP3 player in a package weighing 104 grams.

Unlike most previous 5000 series devices, the 5300 doesn’t appear to be ruggedised in any way. This marks a bit of a shift with the 5000 series towards “lifestyle” devices rather than rugged ones.

Overall, the Nokia 5300 measures 92×48x21mm and weighs 104 grams. Talktime is about 3 hours with up to 12 days standby time.

The specification of the K618i already – it’s a very lightweight 3G phone weighing just 89 grams with a 2 megapixel camera, expandable memory (using Memory Stick Micro cards) with a 256Mb card included, it has Bluetooth and of course an MP3 player.

The K618i’s display is only a 176×220 pixel unit, but this is an acceptable trade-off for the handset’s light weight and it will be good enough for most people. Overall, the K618i shows typically stylish Sony Ericsson design – it’s a smart looking device that is pretty unmistakable in its origins.

Network: GSM 900/1800/1900 + UMTS 2100

It’s just that it’s yet another variant of the K610i in addition to the V630 and K610im. The difference between these handsets is cosmetic – they’re just available for different carriers.

There are external media controls too, so the Z520 can be used as an MP3 player when closed.

You can tell that the SGH-Z520 retains a common style with the Z500, E720 and E700 family, although at 103 grams the Samsung Z520 is a little heavier. Out of all the 3G phones announced at 3GSM, the Z520 looks like the most mainstream device with the broadest appeal.
