Sony Ericsson K810i seems to be exactly identical that for the last time the K800i years. there are a camera of 3.2 megapixel with the development automatic, a xenon flash and possibilities of multishoot. K810i is a telephone of UMTS 2100 with the support of tri-band GSM, the 2.0 “display of QVGA, extensible memory, a complete continuation of software including/understanding a customer of email, web browser, newsreader of RSS and support blogging and a whole crowd of really fresh devices.. but they seem to be exactly the same ones in K810i as older compound.

Sony Ericsson changed the block of keys. Well, well, they made with ones the cosmetic changes too. but finally different the most significant that we can see is the small funny round buttons where K800i had a conventional trimming of a number. And K810i went a little brilliant also, just as the current fashion.

Sony Ericsson K810i specification:
Network:GSM 900/1800/1900 + UMTS 2100
Data:GPRS + UMTS (3G)
Screen:240×320 pixels, 262k colours
Camera:3.2 megapixels
Size:Medium monoblock, 106 x 48 x 17mm / 115 grams
Bluetooth:Yes
Memory card:Memory Stick Micro
Infra-red:Yes
Polyphonic:Yes
Java:Yes
Battery life:2.5 hours talk / 16 days standby (3G), 10 hours talk / 16 days standby (GSM)

If you can live with the strange block of keys, then Sony Ericsson K810i promises to be the same excellent telephone of camera as its predecessor. If you have K800i. well, to better keep the catch of it for now as Sony Ericsson are dependent to have something high more interesting their casings during posterior inside the year.

The slide blocks are little and far enters the chain of Sony Ericsson, W850i is another one with similar name muddling. However, W580i is a device of band GSM of quadruple, rather than the 3G W850i. but nevertheless it is an attractive and interesting compound with its own chief.

The characteristics of W580i are decent enough, but not of inauguration. There is of the 2.0 “display of the Pixel 240×320 in 262.000 colors, a camera of 2 megapixel, the FM radio, Bluetooth (although it is not clear if it is stereo Bluetooth), extensible memory by using the charts microphone of stick of memory (until 2GB with 512MB provided as a standard) and W580i is available in two arrangements of color – the traditional orange and the white as seen on original W810i, plus more subjected gray topic “” urban. Sony Ericsson adapted all these devices in a compound right thick and heavy 14mm pretty 94 reasonable grams.

Sony Ericsson W580i comes with the installation well-considered from multi-media found in the other walkman marked from the telephones, plus a web browser, the customer of email, the reader of RSS and these applications which you could just employ once and then to forget approximately (VideoDJ spouts out with the spirit).

Sony Ericsson W580i specification:
Network:GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
Data:GPRS + EDGE
Screen:240×320 pixels, 262k colours
Camera:2 megapixels
Size:Medium slider, 99 x 14 x 14mm / 94 grams
Bluetooth:Yes
Memory card:Memory Stick Micro
Infra-red:No
Polyphonic:Yes
Java:Yes
Battery life:9 hours talk / 14 days standby

It is a little more than just a standard telephone of walkman with a slide block – Sony Ericsson W580i comes with an extent from the applications to help with your personal mode of physical form, including a meter of calorie and the pedometer also that W580i does not seem to be ruggedised in some way. W580i also supports data of EDGE in addition to band GSM and GPRS of quadruple. The maximum talktime is quoted as 9 hours impressive with time of resource of up to 14 days.

Another addition with series of “walkman” of the cellphones, Sony Ericsson W660i is a light phone 3G with a 2″ 176×220 display, a camera of 2 megapixel with the development automatic and the flash, visual Bluetooth calling and stereo, MP3 player, a packed up stick of the memory 512MB, a FM radio and any software familiar of multi-media that we saw packed up with many of other “recent packed of many recent “Walkman” handsets.

It’s not really a lot special from the W610i, except that the W660i has 3G. In reality it’s not a lot different from the unique W800i “Walkman” cell phone. It fills a niche for a lightweight and relatively cheap 3G music phone, and it follow the common and in style model of Walkman mono block devices.

Sony Ericsson W660i also has an email client, web browser, RSS reader plus all the standard software that this type of Sony Ericsson cellular phone comes with.

One interesting addition is the optional MPS-75 snap-on speaker set that connects directly to the Fast Port Connector and comes with an integrated FM antenna. The MPS-75 is powered directly by the phone, so no additional cabling is required.

The Sony Ericsson K550i (and the i-mode variant, the K550im) are perhaps a good example of the way technology progresses in the mobile phone industry. Almost two years ago, Sony Ericsson announced what was then their high-end camera phone, the K700i. Today, the K550i shares almost exactly the same features, but as the number designation shows, Sony Ericsson now regards this particular handset as a mid-range device.

The K550i is very similar to the K700i with a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, a 1.9″ 176×220 pixel display, Bluetooth, an FM radio and expandable memory. One other obvious difference is the “Cyber-shot” branding on the K550i, even though the camera is pretty much the same as the old non Cyber-shot K750i. Of course, the K750i had a reputation for possessing one of the best cameras around, and the K550i is likely to be equally impressive.

In addition to the K550i, there is also a K550im variant. This is an i-mode device which retains all the features of the K550i and adds an i-mode browser, although the keypad layout is slightly different and the K550im loses the “Cyber-shot” branding.

Sony Ericsson K550i Specification:
Network: GSM 850/900/1800/1900
Data: GPRS + EDGE
Screen: 176×220 pixels, 262k colours
Camera: 2 megapixels
Size: Medium monoblock, 102 x 46 x 14mm / weight tbc
Bluetooth: Yes
Memory card: Memory Stick Micro
Infra-red: Yes
Polyphonic: Yes
Java: Yes
Battery life: 7 hours talk / 14 days standby

There are some important differences though – the main one is that the Sony Ericsson K550i is only 14mm thick (compared with 21mm thick for the K750i), the keypad arrangement is different (a little reminiscent of the classic T610 design), the software suite has been improved (it now contains an RSS reader, for example).. and of course, it’s likely to be a lot cheaper at launch than the K750i was.

Sony Ericsson W610i is a very slim monoblock phone with a thickness of just 14mm, it comes with a 1.9″ 176×220 pixel display, 2 megapixel digital camera, an FM radio and expandable memory using Memory Stick Micro cards. Sony Ericsson include a 512Mb card in the box which is enough for about 8 albums worth of high-quality MP3s.

Only Ericsson W610i has gone a bit glossy, but it’s not just a slimmed-down version of the old W800i – the software has been upgraded since the original incarnation of the Walkman phone, making this a more polished device underneath too.

In much the same way that the original Sony Ericsson W800i “Walkman” phone was a version of the K750i camera phone, the Sony Ericsson W610i is a “Walkmanised” version of the K550i Cyber-shot phone. Do we really need another Walkman phone? We’ve begun to lose count of exactly how many W-series devices that Sony Ericsson have come up with, but if you regard the W610i as a more interesting replacement for the less-than-successful W700i then it makes a certain amount of sense.

Sony Ericsson W610i Specification:
Network: GSM 850/900/1800/1900
Data: GPRS + EDGE
Screen: 176×220 pixels, 262k colours
Camera: 2 megapixels
Size: Medium monoblock, 102 x 46 x 14mm / weight tbc
Bluetooth: Yes
Memory card: Memory Stick Micro
Infra-red: Yes
Polyphonic: Yes
Java: Yes
Battery life: 7 hours talk / 14 days standby

One final oddity – Sony Ericsson are making the W610i available in “Plush Orange” and “Satin Black”, these colours are on the back of the phones. The Plush Orange is the black phone in the picture, the Satin Black one is the white one.

The specification of the K618i already – it’s a very lightweight 3G phone weighing just 89 grams with a 2 megapixel camera, expandable memory (using Memory Stick Micro cards) with a 256Mb card included, it has Bluetooth and of course an MP3 player.

The K618i’s display is only a 176×220 pixel unit, but this is an acceptable trade-off for the handset’s light weight and it will be good enough for most people. Overall, the K618i shows typically stylish Sony Ericsson design – it’s a smart looking device that is pretty unmistakable in its origins.

Network: GSM 900/1800/1900 + UMTS 2100
Data: GPRS + UMTS (3G)
Screen: 176×220 pixels, 262k colours
Camera: 2 megapixels
Size: Coompact candy bar, 102×45x17mm / 89 grams
Bluetooth: Yes
Memory card: Memory Stick Micro
Infra-red: No
Polyphonic: Yes
Java: Yes
Battery life: Not specified

It’s just that it’s yet another variant of the K610i in addition to the V630 and K610im. The difference between these handsets is cosmetic – they’re just available for different carriers.

The Sony Ericsson M600i is a 3G phone with tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900), expandable memory (using Memory Stick Micro cards), plus a full range of applications including the Opera web browser, an email client, and multimedia player. Plus the M600i comes with a jog-dial control in addition to the touchscreen, as does the larger P900 series.

It supports a variety of push email applications too, such as BlackBerry and Visto, and it comes with a range of different VPN clients in order to connect to a corporate network. It can also edit Microsoft Office document. These features give us a clue as to the most likely market for the M600i – business users. One key feature that the M600i doesn’t have is a digital camera – it can’t take stills photos, video clips, nor can it be used for video calling.

This is great for many corporate customers, but it means that the M600i isn’t as consumer orientated as some might have hoped for. Still, it looks like a very promising phone for business use. There’s no WiFi either, but we firmly believe that 3G is more useful that WiFi in this type of device.

When it comes to battery life though, it’s clear that the 3G support drains the life out of the battery pretty quickly. On UMTS (3G) talktime is only 2.5 hours, with 10 days standby. Turn off 3G and use plain old GSM and it’s a whopping 7.5 hours talktime and 14 days standby.

Finally, the M600i looks the part too. It’s a classic Sony Ericsson design, harking back to the T630i (which we regard as one of the most attractive phones ever made). It’s relatively slim too, at 15mm thick.

The Sony Ericsson M600i should start to ship worldwide in Q2 2006, with different keyboard arrangements for those countries that do not use a “QWERTY” layout. There’s also an M600c for mainland China.
