Dell announce Inspiron E1505 with processor Core 2 Duo integrated to the system. With multimedia buttons on the front and gossy widescreen 15.4 inch, Dell has a good design. The case also have white, silver and black design color. The full-sized keyboard is very comfortable with touch pad vertical & horizontal scroll area.

The technology for the new Dell laptop come with Dell’s TrueLife Technology. It’s brighter and more saturated rather than previous LCD. The 1280×800 pixel screen really comfortable delivered with DVD playback.The built-in stereo speakers delivered a good sound quality. The highest volume give some distortion but the speakers powerful enough and you don’t need to turn on to the highest level.

Dell E1505 provide with 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU with 2GB RAM with a good score 3,923 on PCMark 2005 at the top of the range for mainstream Vista notebook. The VGA card drive with ATi mobility X1400 GPU and it’s powerfull for everyday task and handle Windows Vista Home Premium. With Windows experience index graphic score 3.7, the E1505 is the high class for this side. But for the gamer, the notebook is not powerfull 3D gaming. E1505 only get 106 fps at 640×480 pixel resolution to run F.E.A.R and sadly only 7 fps with maximum setting.

The port selection for this notebook is standard, include an expresscard slot and 5-in-1 card reader. The 9 cell battery has 7.2 pounds. Although it’s heavy for the battery, the runtime get suprise with 3 hours and 25 minutes. It’s also have wireless throughput 15 Mbps at 50 feet.

The Dell MediaDirect utility can access music, photos, video and DVD, even your contacts and presentation without booting into the OS. Press the dedicated button above the keyboard and the MediaDirect UI pops up in about 10 seconds (60 seconds run on Vista). Dell also include Word Perfect word processor and Dell Jukebox to rip all of your musci and CD.
