Sony’s James Bond 007 Gadget

For those of us who prefer our martinis shaken, not stirred, Sony’s Q Division is now offering a range of “gadgets” designed around the James Bond motif.

The VGN-TXN007 James Bond 007 TX Spy Gear bundle will provide all the tools you need on your next mission. This limited edition, 007 Bond-branded kit includes a lightweight VAIO® TX notebook PC, a privacy screen and Cyber-shot® digital camera. All of these exclusive items are packaged inside a sophisticated aluminum attaché case. But honestly, let’s not kid ourselves here, people. From what we can see, the Sony 007 Spy Gear Bundle includes some rather standard fare, emblazoned with the 007 logo: the 007 Vaio TX notebook (a Vaio UX option is also available), with (007 Privacy Screen, to boot!) the 007 Cybershot DSC-T50 Digital Camera, and the 007 Micro Vault, all apparently for $3,899, although it’s not quite clear whether that price is for the notebook itself, or for the “Spy Gear” bundle as a whole.
