Sony Sxs Flash Memory Card XDCAM EX Camera

Victor alliance now with Sony to lauch the XDCAM EX MPEG-2 professional video file format and also the SxS Solid State Flash Memory Card.

So far, the XDCAM EX used the mini-DV format, and now, thanks to JVC module, the KA-MR100G, you’ll be able to save your video SXS memory card. You’ll also be able to use the module on the JVC camcorder, ProHD GY-HD200/250.

For those interested, the KA-MR100G will be available on March 2009, for a price around 2000 €.

    Sounds somewhat impressive for Sony! I wish that cell phones could handle flash memory cards that large, imagine what you could do with a simple phone like the Sony Ericcson Xperia x1 then! Of course then they would have to get their marketing team a little bit more on task.
