Sony has always kept the “XBR” Bravia tag to its highest end models, and XBR6 is very well positioned, offering impressive, but not the highest price possible.
The Sony Bravia KDL-52XBR6 has a full HD 1080p LCD with a high dynamic contrast ratio of 50000:1 for impressive colors and deep blacks, 24p and 120Hz support MotionFlow to reduce image blur and Judd . Rational design of the KDL52XBR6 Sony has a very attractive and unique design with interchangeable speaker grill for a little personalization to get the look you want.
The 10-bit LCD panel, with Sony Bravia Engine 2 and high contrast ratio produces deepest black levels of blind HDTV to date. Connections on the KDL-52XBR6 are very good with four HDMI 1.3, 2x component, VGA PC input, S-video, composite and a USB 2.0 input for viewing photos directly on the screen. Cnet reviewed the KDL-52XBR6 and said, the XBR6 looks more realistic than the Samsung A650 or the other Sony and even a bit darker than the Panasonic plasma, details in the shadows are quite distinct, thanks in part that in the gamma Low position was very good.
