The SMX-K40 and SMX-K45 digital camcorder exceptional record standard definition video at a resolution of 720×480 and can then be played on an HDTV in the very near HD quality, with a larger scale advanced technology and HDMI connectivity . With an HDMI output module on the camera and the HDMI cable (sold separately), consumers connect the camcorder directly to their HDTV for nearly full HD playback.
The Samsung SMX-K45 offers an internal 32 GB Solid State Drive (SSD), offering up to 20 hours and 40 minutes of recording depending on recording mode. Samsung SSD camcorder famous technology offers a substantial advantage over the use of Hard Disk Drives (HDD) in a digital camcorder. SSD is more energy efficient, produces very low heat emission, and is faster and more durable than the hard drive because there are no moving parts. The Samsung SMX-K40 camcorder has no internal memory and requires the use of the SD / SDHC card.
