Sagem my600X 3G Mobile Phone Review

The Sagem my600X or to give it the absolutely correct capitalisation, the SAGEM my600X (SAGEM is an acronym for Société d’Applications Générales de l’Electricité et de la Mécanique), their latest offering and one of a very small number of 3G devices from Sagem.
However, during 2006 Sagem have rebuilt their mobile phone portfolio with a wide range of cosmetically similar devices that are quite competitive and certainly nicer to look at than some Sagems of old.
The SAGEM my600X manages to get below the magic 100 gram figure for a 3G phone, but only just. At 99 grams and 110x48x16mm in size it’s comparatively compact and light for a 3G phone, and the simply, unfussy design indicates that this will be quite easy to use.
It’s not going to change the world when it comes to features, but the key thing with Sagem handsets is price. Although Sagem haven’t confirmed the cost of the my600X, past experience indicates that the handset should offer very good value for money and will appeal to prepay customers in particular.
