Philips Essence 42PES0001 LCD TV
August 31, 2008 | Display, Philips | 1 CommentPhilips presented its 42-inch LCD TV Essence (42PES0001) at IFA 2008. The new Philips TV is only 38mm thin. To achieve this goal thinness Philips has transferred the image processing electronics and put it into a platform connectivity.
The new TV Essence Philips sports a thin and shiny black lcd tv aluminum frame that gives a style to watch television. The 42PES0001 TV also offers 2 x 15w’s Bar, connectivity and a remote control can give a look to decorating.
Furthermore, to reduce cable clutter, Phillips has developed a single cable (including video, audio and power) to connect the screen in the center of connectivity. This single cable eliminates need for multiple cables maintain the beauty of the living room.
Speaking at the launch Des Power, Senior Vice President Marketing Television, Philips Consumer lifestyles said, “We wanted to offer consumers a flat TV with a design so small that when all is off, it would seem that if it is a painting on the wall. With a depth of only 38 mm gasoline is light, thin line and is easy to hang on a single hook. It is also packed with technology to produce the best in their category displayed. “
There is still no word on the price and availability of 42-inch LCD TV yet.
