T-Mobile Sidekick LX 2009 Specs Surface
T-Mobile was reported a while ago to be prepping new Sidekicks to be launched this year, and now we’ve got a few more details on one of said devices. We are talking about a so-called Sidekick LX 2009, which was supposedly codenamed Blade internally, yet it is uncertain whether this is the same model or not.
The specs of the device show it as a high-end product, which would include a 3.2-inch WVGA+ display able to deliver an 854 by 480 pixel resolution. At the same time, it will also come with support for T-Mobile’s 3G service and sport a GPS receiver, providing turn-by-turn directions and connectivity to maps supplied by Microsoft Live.
More specifications on the Sidekick LX 2009 include a 3.2-megapixel camera, a QWERTY keyboard, as well as a microSD card slot, which offers support for up to 8GB of expandable memory, providing users with enough storage space for audio and video files.
The device is consumer focused, yet it should also feature support for synchronizations with both Microsoft Exchange and Outlook. Moreover, users will also be provided with easy access to YouTube videos, and with a range of social-networking software, which includes applications for MySpace, Facebook and Twitter.
