For On-TV Navigation of your Zune youll have to set the tv out setting on the Zune itself. To do this, simply go to settings on the Zunes Main Menu (you may do this manually using the Zunes Control Pad or with the HomeDocks Remote Control). Under settings select display and then select tv out: off. When you see a pop-up window, just hit the Enter/OK Button on your HomeDock Remote or on the Zune Control Pad. Your Zunes interface should now appear on your television screen.

GPS requires a direct “line-of-sight” to communicate with satellites. Your iPhone 3G or 3GS must have a clear view of the sky to locate at least three satellites in order to give accurate position information. If you are indoors, in a wooded area or surrounded by buildings, you may be unable to acquire an accurate signal.

Lock the phone To lock the phone and prevent it from dialling accidentally: press the power button on the top. The screen will deactivate and you will hear a click. In this mode, the screen will not respond to input. The buttons however are still functional.

Power off the phone Press and hold the power button for approx 5 seconds, then slide the red arrow to the right. To power on again, hold power button for a few seconds until the Apple logo appears.

Before using your iPhone it must first be activated via iTunes. This will configure it for use on your mobile phone network. Acquiring satellite signals may take a few minutes. The bars indicate GPS satellite strength. When one bar is green, the nüvi has acquired satellite signals. Now you can select a destination and navigate to it.

Your route is marked with a magenta line. As you travel, your nüvi guides you to your destination with voice prompts, arrows on the map, and directions at the top of the map. If you depart from the original route, your nüvi recalculates the route and provides new directions. Touch and drag the map to view a different area of the map. A speed limit icon could appear as you travel on major roadways.

The FM traffic receiver, which is integrated in the vehicle power cable, is included in some nüvi packages. The traffic receiver and the nüvi must be in data range of an FM station transmitting TMC (Traffic Message Channel) data to receive traffic information.
