Nokia 6650 MMS Concept SDK Installation Guide
If you are using a T2x-series IBM laptop and Windows 2000, you may need to modify your hardware acceleration settings. If the Nokia Developer’s Suite install process fails, right-click on Windows desktop and select Properties. Select Settings | Advanced |Troubleshooting and set hardware acceleration to “Disable all but basic accelerations” (see Figure 1). This problem has been identified at least with IBM laptop models T20 and T21.
To use Nokia 6650 MMS Concept SDK Beta 0.1 with Nokia Mobile Internet Toolkit 3.1, you need to select Settings | Select Device | Nokia 6650 MMS Concept SDK Beta 0.1 from the Nokia Mobile Internet Toolkit 3.1 menus. 6.2 Using Nokia MMS Java library To start phone emulator double-click start.bat file from the Windows explorer. Start.bat file can be found in the Nokia 6650 MMS Concept SDK Beta 0.1 install directory.
The Nokia MMS Java library contains source code examples of message creation, encoding, decoding and message sending functionalities. To view MMS messages with Nokia 6650 MMS Concept SDK Beta 0.1 you have to save wap encoded mms message to a file (e.g. example.mms) and save it to Nokia_6650_MMS_Concept_SDK_Beta_0_1/mmsinbox directory. Concept emulator retrieves mms message automatically from mmsinbox directory.
