It’s too easy to get preoccupied with everything Prius automatically does for you, especially with the Multi-Display providing constant performance information. The hybrid system was designed so you could to drive it like a traditional car. That way, you can enjoy the remarkably smooth &
quiet ride. Let the computer worry about how to save gas and reduce emissions.
For safety, stepping on the brake before starting has always been highly recommended in all types of vehicles anyway. But in Prius, it is required. Because if you don’t, you’ll find that only the accessories will power-up. The hybrid system itself won’t start until you push the power button
while also stepping on the brake at the same time.
Reducing Emissions is the highest priority for Prius. It strives to remain a AT-PZEV (Advanced Technology - Partial Zero Emission Vehicle) at all times, which means the catalytic-converter mustbe kept hot… even if it requires consuming some fuel to accomplish that. Fortunately, you still get better than average mileage, even though the engine may run more than you’d expect.

Located the ECU against the firewall in the engine bay. Release the connectors by swiveling the clamps that hold the plugs in. If it’s easier for you, please remove the ECU from the firewall. Using a pick will help you remove the directional covers that shield the wiring.
Find a suitable place to mount the fuel controller module. *Make sure the fuel controller does not come in contact with moving parts or won’t be damaged by parts or flying debris. Mounting it above the ECU location or attaching it to the main harness is fine.
Locate main fuse box under the hood. Remove the fuel pump relay (listed asAM2). It s located in the engine compartment on the river’s side shock tower. Replace the 15A fuse with a 20a fuse.

Toyota has unveiled a new vehicle called Venza, which it refuses to identify as a crossover or a station wagon. Incidentally, the latter designation is banned from the vocabulary of American consumers, despite their past fondness for this type of vehicle. Toyota’s semantic and linguistic contortions aside, the Venza can easily be considered a Camry station wagon, since it rests on a modified version of the Camry platform. It also comes with elements originating from the Highlander in addition to its own specially designed parts. Distinguishing the Venza from a classic station wagon are its higher, 20.5-cm ground clearance and its 19- and 20-inch tires, depending on the model.

Car and Driver compare seven of America most popular family sedans, searching for value and verve. The 7 sedans are: Cevrolet Malibu LT, Dodge Avenger SXT, Ford Fusion Sel, Honda Accord EX, Hyundai Sonata LTD, Nissan Altima 2.5S, and Toyota Camry LE.
In its 32-year existence, the Accord has landed on C/D’s 10Best Cars list 22 times. We must have cost Honda a pile of cash in trophy cases alone. In this group, our Accord carried the highest base price, but it was because we wanted to sample the 190 horsepower that comes with the EX, rather than the base LX’s 177. It paid off. Our test car was the second quickest to 60 mph.
The Accord’s essential goodness, how-ever, doesn’t derive from power alone. Even with the standard stability control chipping away, our EX was also the fastest through our lane-change test.
