    Nokia 6288 Review

March 21, 2011 | Cellular Phone, Gadgets, Nokia | Comments Off

The Nokia 6288 is a revised version of the 6280, although it’s very difficult to see what has changed between the two models apart from a few cosmetic differences. As with the previous handset, the Nokia 6288 is a 3G slider with a 2 megapixel main camera, VGA subcamera, 240×320 pixel display, Bluetooth, multimedia support and microSD expandable memory. The main difference appears to be that the Nokia 6282 is bundled with a 512Mb memory card, compared to 64Mb on the old version.

At 115 grams, it’s heavier than some of the current crop of 3G phones, but the Nokia 6288′s predecessor was a well-liked handset which means that the new one should prove to be a practical and versatile device. The pricing isn’t too expensive either, at €325 before tax and subsidy.

Overall, the Nokia 6288 looks to be a good device and it goes to prove that you don’t need an expensive N-series phone to go 3G with Nokia.

The Nokia 6288 should be available sometime during Q4 2006 in black and white colour combinations.
