Navman N60i Wide Screen GPS
August 6, 2007 | Gadgets, GPS Navigation | 1 CommentThe N60i is for people who want to get the big picture when driving. It offers a 4.3-inch widescreen display, which you can fill with pictures you take yourself with the included 1.3-megapixel camera.

Take pics of locations when you have a GPS connection and you can automatically create routes to those places later on, just by tapping their pictures in the image browser. To get you started, Navman includes a small directory of North American attractions, including the Alamo, Golden Gate Bridge, and Eiffel Tower (the one in Las Vegas).
The large display is hard to take in at a glance and can actually be a nuisance when driving. The ability to take a low-quality picture of a location doesn’t improve the process of creating favorites. We were also bothered by how unbearably slow the N60i can be when calling up its POI database.
