If you are using it as a phone, then the ROKR E8 shows a conventional numeric keypad – if you use the camera, it shows camera controls, and for playing multimedia ROKR E8 musical keys.
The virtual keyboard is reinforced with Motorola and technology haptic when switched off the keyboard of ROKR E8 is completely blank. Motorola are not saying exactly how the E8 ROKR ModeShift keyboard works like fisrt saw on LG Chocolate. It can play MP3, MIDI, AAC, WMA, WAV, AMR and RealAudio music formats, comes with 2 gigabytes of internal memory (expandable to 4 GB with a microSD card), and it has a landscape format 2 inch with 320 x 240 pixels screen video playback.
The ROKR E8 can also be used with a variety of headsets wired and wireless and speakers with FM radio. There is no support for SD high capacity memory cards, the camera is a 2 megapixel autofocus with or without flash and the ROKR E8 lack 3G or WiFi. The memory is probably the most important – 2 GB or 4 GB is lower than even the Apple iPod Touch.
