You might think that the LG KT520 is a cheap and cheerful device with little to offer but he has a good surprise technical specification which gives the KT520 perhaps more high-tech enough that the phone you have in your pocket right now.

LG KT520 looks like a fairly modest slider phone. But below is a device with HSDPA 3.5G high-speed data, a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus secondary plus a videotaped appeal, a 2.2″ QVGA high-contrast display , USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0, a pretty complete player and microSD expandable memory, plus a Web browser and mail client.

A couple of notable omissions are the lack of an FM radio and the device seems to be no flash. But then the KT520 is designed to be a good value for money, and it’s pretty feature packed as it is.
Internal memory is a modest 35MB, but it can be extended up to 4 GB option using a microSD card. Overall, the KT520 measures 101 x 50 x 15mm and weighs 97 grams which is quite good for a 3.5G device. The interior 800 mAh battery is capable of 3 hours 20 minutes and 10.6 days on standby.
LG KT520 has the potential to be a very good value for money phone easily offer all the features that most people never need. Give him a few months, and the KT520 May well be a very welcome addition to someone’s Christmas storage.
