With the Photo Printer 500, people can view and edit their photos on a large, bright 3.5-inch LCD screen – the world’s largest on a snapshot photo printer. The LCD screen can be closed, making it easier to move home or take on TRIPS and the protection of dust.
The images are enhanced with Kodak technology PerfectTouch automatically better, brighter images without the use of complex menu commands. Reduction of red eyes is also available at the push of a button. Your prints last for a lifetime through XTRALIFE lamination, which makes them waterproof and resistant to stains.
The photo printer 500 are 4 x 6-inch prints directly from virtually any digital media in about 60 seconds, including the most popular memory card (SD, MMC, CF, xD, Memory Stick), USB devices flash memory, PictBridge-enabled digital cameras, mobile devices with Bluetooth wireless technology and Wi-Fi enabled computers (optional KODAK Wi-Fi card is required).
A thermal printing uses heat transfer ink dye with a sheet of mylar and fuses in the document. It is a process of subtraction color, color dyes are transparent and can be placed on each other to create up to 16 million colors and produces an image of equal conventional photo prints.
The large flip-up, 3.5-inch color LCD screen makes viewing and editing of your photos at a glance. You can zoom and crop photos to get their just the way you want before printing. The LCD ends with the face inward when not in use to protect the screen and printer for more compact storage and transport.
