I have been using that laptop for about a year now, and it is the worst piece of **** on the market.
Firstly, the lit doesn’t close well, alright, they replaced the whole laptop for that problem.
The keyboard is not very comfortable, and despite the fact that I almost exclusively use an external keyboard, a key came off and could never been put back; a replacement key was provided.
The system crashes often (Graphics card driver crashes often and the system goes down w/ it in 50% of the cases).
The notebook speakers are weaker than I have ever experienced on any laptop.
It took HP almost a year to get the fingerprint driver to work properly.
I have two batteries in it. The external one has been fried and HP has given me a new one – some production problem, so expect a recall for the whole series soon.
On the batteries, I have new batteries (2 in the system), that should last for 12 hours (that was how it was advertised to me. If I turn everything down (low CPU speed, turn off harddisks and put the screen as dark as possible), give me about 5.5 hours of work time. 24 ARE YOU KIDDING???
There are so many problems with this laptop, and these are general. In my organization over 1000 were deployed and most seem to get all of the problems above.
It’s a crime for HP to deliver these laptops as top-of-the-line $2000 laptops.
