How-to Reduce CD/DVD Writer Noise

I really don’t recommend that trick, since it disables the DMA transfers (direct access of the information without using the processor) of the CD/DVD, leaving all the job of data transferring to the processor, overloading it and causing that while you are reading/writing from/to the CD/DVD the overall performance of the computer is greatly reduced. Better to download an acoustic silencer software.
