How to Install Windows XP on Acer Aspire 4315
September 25, 2008 | Acer | 5 CommentsIf you buy the Acer 4315 usually it already built-in with Windows Vista. And most of the people who want to down-grade to Windows XP operating system will be difficult to install it.
The problem is there’s no driver Windows XP on the CD package which usually include when you buy the notebook. Only Vista driver is included and this is an experience for other vendor if most of users still want to use Windows XP rather than Vista.
The solution if you really want to install XP on the acer 4315, you can download the chipset, vga, soundcard, modem and wireless. This drivers also compatible with another Acer notebook like Acer 4715/4720Z and Acer 4920/2920Z which has the same mainboard.
- Acer VGA driver
- Chipset driver
- Audio and sound
- Wireless LAN
For the webcam, you can use the Vista driver. Use Suyin driver and Suyin application. The lunch manager and other appication you can use the Vista driver on the CD from the vendor. I hope it can help you to install the Windows XP OS on Acer aspire 4315
