    Gunnar Optiks High Performance Glasses

These glasses are designed for gamers and people who spend a lot of time in the front of the computer screen. They reduce eye strain, improve contrast, and even prevent dry eyes, and were recently on display at CES and the Major League Gaming national tournament.

    The Gunnar glasses can do this with their proprietary technology, including i-Fi anti-reflective coating, diAMIX lens material, and iONik lens tinting. The anti-reflective coating works to reduce reflections on the screen from overhead lighting and other light sources. The diaMIX lens material, used only in Gunnar glasses, is very light-weight and has a high abbe value, meaning it has less color distortion. And finally, one the most noticeable aspects of the glasses are the yellow iONik tinting, which increases contrast by filtering blue light.

    All of it works together in what Gunnar calls it’s “i-AMP lens technology”. This also includes moulding the lens so as to reduce dry eyes that result from looking intensely at a screen and not blinking.
