Fujifilm FinePix F50fd Camera Great at Low Light
12M Fujifilm introduced its compact digital camera FinePix F50fd next gereration of FinePix F31fd the Korean market adopts the 7th generation Super CCD with a 3.0x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch 230000 pixels wide viewing angle LCD.
The F50fd also has a mechanical CCD-shift system for image stabilization, improved detection face of ISO 1600 at full image size and an LCD display 2, 7 inches. The F50fd expected to be available in September at around $ 300.
FujiFilm FinePix F50fd is a compact engine that incorporates all the features users have come to expect from Fujifilm’s most advanced digital cameras. With the addition of dual image stabilization, 2.0 Detection Technology with Automatic Face according to remove red-eyes, and ISO settings up to ISO 6400.
FinePix F50fd adds to the image stabilization mode to create a better image stabilization Dual mode. This combines a CCD mechanically stabilized with high ISO sensitivities for Total Anti-Blur protection.

The f50fd does have good low noise performance but it is not as good as its ancestors (the f40fd, f31fd,f20). The issue is the increased resolution (megapixels). Generally the higher the resolution on the same size sensor, the higher the noise. Its true that newer generation sensors handle noise better but a jump from 6mp (f30fd) to 12mp (f50fd) is too ambitious a jump.
