Vista Transformation Pack will give to your Windows XP system the new and cool look of future operating system Windows Vista. The pack changes most of the system icons, skins and toolbars and also adds new enhancements to your desktop such as a dock bar or a different system tray clock. It is free and does a great job of giving machine a look similar to Vista.

It does have uninstallation options in case you decide you want to get rid of it, so there really isn’t anything to lose. However, when you install the software it has to overwrite some system files (it modifies things like the boot screen) so Windows will prompt you stating that your system files have been changed. It will ask whether you want to change them back or leave them, so just leave them if you want the system to function properly.

   it’s a nice software,but with 1 problem, it require hardware much more that what the actual vista ask for its full eye candy functionality, so what is the point of getting the fake vista then? but if you can live without full eyecandy (aero, sidebar, etc) than it is a nice vista wannabe desktop

   Yes I installed one of these but now I cannot uninstall it and it does not show up on my control panel either under programmes, I have searched program,me files till I am sick of it but it is still there any help on this would be most appreciated

   hi there if you can’t unnistall these themes or you want to remove it actually it’s recomended
   that you make a restore point before you install the trans pack/themes. so if you want to remove these things you can change the restore point system , it works easily just go to control panel click tab performance & Maintenance on the left side you will find the restore point tab.klick and you can restore your system to an earlier time .if you can’t find earlier restore point the last thing you can do is install Tune Up 2007 software and you can fix you system performance manually, why you must use the 2007 coz it litle bit easier than 2008 type. good luck

   How to make a restore point!!
   1st. scan your system with ante virus bfore you make a restore point it’ make your system healthy
   2nd. after you finished scanning your system, go to control panel klick tab performance & Maintenance.
   3rd. on the leftside bar you will find restore point setting tab. klick on it
   4th. klick tab create a restore point and your system will make restore point it self
   5th. done !!!
   now you can install vista/vista transformation pack / themes or do anything … as long as you have the restore point it’ easy to care the system if anything happen just roll it back……..
