Seagate release a new hard disk drive using highest capacity called Seagate Savvio 10K.4 and it’s most reliable 2.5-inch enterprice HDD.

It’s build for enterprise server and the 1st HDD to achieve and uprecedented 2M hours Mean TIme Between Failure (MTBF) ratings. The Seagate Savvio also featuring Protection Information to enhanced the data in flight, self-encrypting drive option for ultimate protection for sensitive data.

Seagate revealed the new external HDD with super speed USB 3.0 port which named Seagate BlackArmor PS110 USB 3.0 (ST905003BPA1ES-RK). It’s come with automatic backup with 256-bit encyption data and up to 100Mb/s transfer speed.

The Seagate BlackArmor dimension is 2.5-inch (12.5×80×130 mm), weight only 178-grams with 500GB capacity and 7200rpm. It’s bundled with adapter card and backed with 5-years warranty. The price of Seagate BlackArmor PS110 HDD available at $180.

Seagate release the first solid state drive (SSD) which named Seagate Pulsar with 2.5-inch form factor using single-levell cell (SLC) technology. It has capacity up to 200GB with speed read and write up to 240 MB/s and 200 MB/s.

This Seagate Pulsar is design for server or enterprise application. The peak performance can be achieve up to 30,000 read IOPS and 25,000 write IOPS (I/O per second). You can connect the Pulsar SSD via serial ATA II interface and its consume only 50% energy rather than traditional HDD.

Seagate release 2.5-inch portable HDD FreeAgent Go with capacity 750GB, 880GB and 1TB. Also Seagate release DockStar STDSA10G-RK NAS adapter – the docking station for network access.

The DockStar adapter can open the files at FreeAgent Go HDD via remote access over ethernet. It can be used to connect up to 3 USB drives. The FreeAgent Go can be connected separately via USB port and also come with backup software.

Seagate Technology announce the new external hard drives code name FreeAgent which is portable to bring anywhere. The Seagate FreeAgent Go come with 500GB capacity with 2.5 inch – 12.5mm thickness portable drivers.
