Samsung Electronics launches its two smallest colour laser printer, Samsung CLP-315K and Samsung CLX-3175NK in Korea market.

The CLP-315K is 20% smaller than the previous generation CLP-300-model with high-gloss black case. With a sound exclusive NO-NOIS print Engine, the CLP-315K features 45dB, a resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi, 32MB of internal memory, 16 pages per minute (black) and 4 pages per minute (colour).
Samsung and Sony Joint Venture S-LCD Technology
Samsung Electronics and Sony Corporation today announced that on a treaty establishing a new 8-generation amorphous TFT-LCD production line at their joint venture S-LCD Corporation.

S-LCD, founded in April 2004, began its 7th Operation online generation April 2005 and its first generation 8 online exploitation August 2007 on the manufacture and delivery TFT-LCD panels from Samsung and Sony. For increasing global demand for LCD televisions, Samsung and Sony agreed to strengthen the capacity of the Generation 8.
