Nokia N80 Preview

Following right behind the Nokia N71 , is the Nokia N80. It is Nokia’s first second slider phone, with the first being the Nokia 7650. And it comes packed with goodies for the camera-phone fanatics.

Nokia announced today three new N-Series 3G multimedia cell phones. Along with the Nokia N80 and the Nokia N92 , is the Nokia N71. The N71 will allow users to play music and browse the web “in a completely new way”.

Nokia N92 Series Preview

We have the Nokia N92, an odd-looking but certainly a suitable form factor for video viewing. Nokia N92 support for DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting – Handhelds), along with any streams you might catch with the snazz 3G connection.

It’s a dual folder, similar to the Samsung D307, giving you a nice landscape orientation for video viewing on the 2.8-inch, 16 million color, 320 x 240 display. There are once again two cameras available for your snapping pleasure, with 2 megapixels in the high-res one. There is also 802.11g WiFi and the usual Bluetooth and USB 2.0, along with 90MB of storage, expandable through miniSD.

Nokia 6125 with Macromedia Flash Player

The new Nokia 6125 is pretty basic. It’s a quad-band GSM/GPRS clamshell with a 1.3-megapixel-camera (8x digital zoom) and FM radio. But what’s unique is its built-in Macromedia Flash Player. It’s a godsend for Flash games addict!

Nokia 9300 Review

Nokia announced the Nokia 9500 Communicator back in February, it received generally positive reviews as being an impressive piece of kit. The 9500 was a little too much for many people. Both camera phones and wireless network are a distraction and security risk for many businesses, and not all individual users want them in any case. What these customers wanted was something without these features, and if it could be a bit lighter and a lot cheaper then that would be great too.

Nokia 9500 Communicator is the much anticipated replacement for the Nokia 9210i, and it represents a significant collaboration between Nokia and its technology partners to create a class-leading hybrid hand held computer/mobile device for businesses and individuals who need maximum power and flexibility on the move.

It’s worth remembering that the Nokia 9210 Communicator was announced way back in late 2000 and finally shipped in about June 2001. The enhanced 9210i came out in about mid-2002 - by the time the 9500 starts shipping the 9210 platform will have been in production for over three years.
