Sony release A Series Walkman which available in 16,32 and 64GB of memory. Its featuring 2.8-inch OLED screen and support MPEG-4, AVC, and WMV video.

The Sony A Series also support audio files like MP3, WMA, ATRAC, PCM and AAC. This gadget only 62-grams and also its compatible with Sony PS3. If you interested with simple walkman without need additional application, this A Series from Sony is a must have to buy. The price is not available yet.

Philips has introduced a new portable media player GoGear Muse. Philips GoGear Muse equipped with 3-inches display with a resolution of 240×400 pixels, an FM tuner with 20 presets and 16 GB of memory.

The player supports many file formats: MP3, Ogg Vorbis, APE, Real Audio, Real Video, JPG, BMP, GIF and PNG. The beam delivery device includes a helmet, equipped with the system of active noise control. This PMP is becoming the new media players of the Philips manufacturer, previously the most expensive and the functional model is Philips GoGear Opus.

Sony Ericsson release the S Series Walkman video mp3 player which has features high quality built-in stereo speakers. It has 2.4-inch QVGA LCD screen, support MP3, WMA, AAC and WMV video.

Sony Ericsson S Series walkman has long life battery which up to 42-hours music playback and up to 6.5-hours video playback (but it must be through headphones). And if you want to listen the music via speakers the battery life up to 17-hours and up to 5-hours video playback.

Oracom release a low-end mini portable multimedia player (PMP) W10 with 2-inch LCD screen and has 65,000 colors depend with Oracom W30.

The W10 PMP featuring video playback, text viewer, FM radio, voice recording function, and many more. It’s support up to 21-hours for playback and 8-hours video playback with dimension 44.8×91.4×9.9mm and weight 41-grams.

Microsoft release the next generation portable media player Zune HD which can be extend the Zune video to XBox Live internationally.

Zune HD featuring HD radio receiver to provide users the quality sound and additional programs. The OLED touchscreen allow you to navigate easily to browse the content.

The screen has 16:9 aspect ratio with 480×272 pixel resolution. Zune HD has high definition video output format which allow you to connect via media player via HDMI audiovisual docking station directly to HDTV. But you must purchase the dock separately. The price of Zune HD is not available yet.

iRiver release a new portable multimedia player (PMP) which has WQVGA LCD touch screen with 4.3-inch called P.ple P7 (it’s so hard to remember).

The iRiver P7 equipped with GUI which looks like magazine stlye layout. It’s support some video format like AVI, WMV, MP4, RM/RMVB, DAT/MPG, 3GP/K3G, FLV and more. You can playback up to 35 hours and the memory 8GB or 16GB built-in.

Samsung release new MP3 player YEPP U5 which is small and equipped with fitness program. It can be used to know your calorie consumption that you expect from exercises.

Samsung U5 has 1-inch OLED display and it works as USB drive without any cable. It’s offer up to 20 hours life for playback and also support playback A-B repeat function.

Another features is Samsung DNSe 3.0, it’s Digital Sound Engine enhancement technology, FM radio and 2Gb of internal storage. The price is not available yet.

Samsung release a new MP3 player YEPP Q2 which the next generation from previous version YEPP YP-P3. It’s support DNSe 3.0 technology to optimum the sound for the music and video.

Another features of YEPP Q2 like auto bookmark function, up to 50hours playback time and user-friendly button. The screen 2.4-inch LCD display, support WMA/MPEG4 video playback, FM radio, text viewer and games.
