Motorola RIZR Review
The cleverly named Motorola RIZR (or MOTORIZR) originally codenamed the “Capri” is a RAZR-style sliding phone – Motorola’s first for Western markets.
Initial reports say that Motorola have spent a lot of time getting the sliding mechanism just right, resulting in a handset that feels as if it is very high quality. It’s certainly a distinctive looking device too, and Motorola have been clever in including many RAZR family features into the design of the Motorola RAZR.
BlackBerry 8707v 3G Ready
BlackBerry 8707v is the first 3G BlackBerry device to market. It’s a derivative of the ubiquitous BlackBerry 8700 series of devices, and it appears to have the same functionality as the 8700, just with added support for UMTS 2100 3G data.
There are limitations with the 8707v though. There’s no WiFi, unlike some recent messaging devices, nor is there any expandable memory (internal memory comprises of 64Mb of Flash memory plus 16Mb dynamic RAM). There’s no MP3 player or camera either. Of course, many businesses actually want these limitations as it makes the device simpler to manage.

Toshiba TS605 Cell Phone
The TS605’s feature set isn’t too bad – there’s a 1.9″ 176×220 pixel TFT display in 262,000 colours, a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, microSD expandable memory (up to 1Gb, but there’s only 5.5Mb on board), Bluetooth, an MP3/AAC and video clip player, FM radio, email client and WAP browser. The
Toshiba TS605 is a lightweight, slim handset available in a wide variety of colours. All of that fits into a handset weighing only 79 grams and coming in at just 10.3mm thick, giving the Toshiba TS605 a certain svelte charm.
Samsung F300 SGH-F300 Music Power
What makes the Samsung F300 so special is something that we can’t show you.. because Samsung’s press office have only supplied a picture of one side of the SGH-F300. Here’s the clever thing: on one side of the F300 is a “music player” interface with a large screen and multidirectional pad.. on the other side is a conventional numeric keypad plus a much smaller screen. It’s the first time we’ve ever seen this on a mobile phone, and it’s just such a darned shame we can’t show it to you. This arrangement is also found on the Samsung F500.
LG VX-8600 CDMA Phone
LG VX-8600 CDMA phone combines most of the features of the 8500 Chocolate with an ultra-thin clamshell form factor. Key features include touch-sensitive external music keys, a music player, memory card slot, stereo Bluetooth, EVDO high-speed data, and speaker-independent voice control.
The VX8600 keypad will not have the “chocolate-styled†keys in two shades of gray but an ordinary flat keypad; also the D-pad is not circle one, but in a rectangular form. On the outside, it seems that the VX-8600 will have a bigger external display than the one used in KG810 and we are not sure if it will feature “the Chocolate†touch keys, dedicated to the music player.
Motorola A925 Review 3G Cell Phone
The Motorola A925 adds Bluetoothâ„¢ and Infrared wireless connectivity to the A920 3G smartphone, making it a superb business tool. Apart from these additions and a minor external makeover, the A925 is the same as the A920, and so much of this review repeats what has already been said about the A920.
As a 3G phone, the A925 supports all of 3’s video mobile services: video calling, video messaging & downloading video clips. It supports assisted GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) for enhanced location-based services. It also benefits from high-speed data transfer whilst on the 3G network. The screen format supports widescreen video.
