Samsung Electronics has announced its most advanced Blu-ray BD-P2500 during the IFA 2008. The new BD-P2500 provides an important update on previous models with several key new features designed to improve the premium audio and visual.

Cowon announced the launch of its new portable multimedia player P5 with Bluetooth 2.0 support for the market in Korea.

Equipped with RMI Au1250 Alchemy 700MHz processor and a 5-inch color LCD screen with 800×480 resolution, the Cowon offers P5 DMB, FM radio, voice recording, and the UCI (Creating user interface) functions.

Supporting up to 9 hours of video playback and 14 hours of portable music playing time, the P5 has also improved its feature electronic dictionary. Coming in three different colors including black, platinum and red, it should be available on July 29.
