Samsung release a new DSLR camera – the NX Series which also said it’s a hybrid camera. It can combine DSLR image quality and compact point and shoot.

Samsung NX Series has some features like conventional DSLRs uses APS-C sized image sensor for a larger surface area to gather light. It doesn’t include a mirror box and have ultra-precise Electronic Viewfinder. The detail specification is not available yet but it will be available on second half of 2009.

Canon release the new tilt-shift lenses on the market. They are a fisheye TS-E17mm F4L and a regular S-E24mm F3.5L II.

Sony Japan launch 2 new cybershot camera the DSC-T90 and DSC-T900 Cybershot. Both cameras have 12.1M pixel with latest Super HAD CCD, BIONZ image processor and record video 720p at both 6 and 9Mbps.

Other basic features Smile Shutter, Face Detection, and many more. Although technically Sony DSC-T90 and T900 are similar with both a touch screen, they are distinguished by their size LCD 3 inch for the T90 and 3.5 inch for the T900.

Samsung announces new digital camera TL100 ultra slim which is competitor of Exilim Z300. It’s Samsung TL100 with a 12.3 megapixel camera, 3x optical zoom and 2.7-inch LCD screen.

Measuring just 16.6mm thick, the TL100 offers up to ISO 3200, Intelligent Auto mode, the digital image stabilization, Face Detection, Smile Shot, Blink album intelligent detection and function.

The ultra slim TL100 can record 800 × 592 at 20fps videos MPEG4. It will be available in spring 2009.

Olympus launch the Stylus Tough 8000 compact digital camera with features like shock resistance, water proof camera, freeze, crush and shake-proof.

Another features of Stylus 8000 is 12M pixel CMOS sensor which can bring to the underwatee until 33 deep feet and 220 pounds of pressure, dual image optimization and face detection.

If you want another series like Stylus Tough 6000, it’s less rough camera. It’s only can be falled to 5 feet and 10 feet for underwater. The Stylus Tough 8000 price for $400 and Tough 6000 for $300.
