Nokia 5300 Xpress Music Phone
Carrying the XpressMusic name, the Nokia 5300 looks great, especially with the clever dedicated multimedia keys, but ultimately it’s a pretty standard handset roughly analogous to the Nokia 6131 clamshell. There’s a QVGA 240×320 pixel TFT display, a 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD memory expandable to 2Gb, Bluetooth, a stereo FM radio and an MP3 player in a package weighing 104 grams.

LG CU500 Review
The first thing to note is that UMTS in the US is not the same as UMTS everywhere else in the world – it’s an 850/1900 MHz UMTS device rather than the UMTS 2100 MHz standard that pretty much everyone else uses. It does have quad-band GSM and EDGE support though, so you can still continue to use the LG CU500 more-or-less anywhere in the world.
Motorola FONE F3 MOTOFONE Preview
Motorola FONE F3 (also known as the MOTOFONE) is a very slim bar format phone that’s due to hit the market by the end of the year. There are two versions – the FONE F3 is a GSM handset, the F3c is a CDMA version for North America and other CDMA markets.
Samsung Z650i (SGH-Z650i)

Samsung Z650i is a 3G sliding i-mode phone, and might well correctly guess that the SGH-Z650i comes with a QVGA (320×240 pixel display), a 2 megapixel camera and expandable memory (although unlike the long overdue or possibly cancelled Z600, this isn’t a smartphone).
As well as having 2100 MHz 3G support, the Samsung Z650i has tri-band 900/1800/1900 MHz GSM plus GPRS and EDGE data. Overall size is 102×52x16mm and the SGH-Z650i weighs 95 grams, and has 2.5 hours of talktime on 3G (or 4 hours on 2G) with up to 8 days standby time.
Samsung SGH X830 Blush
Samsung SGH-X830 is probably one of the most interesting phones that we’ve seen this year.
It’s a very distinctive handset to look at, measuring just 84×30x20mm and coming in at 72 grams. Then there’s the Samsung X830’s unusual 128×220 pixel display and a distinctive circular control pad (more of which later).
Sony Ericsson K618i Review
The specification of the K618i already – it’s a very lightweight 3G phone weighing just 89 grams with a 2 megapixel camera, expandable memory (using Memory Stick Micro cards) with a 256Mb card included, it has Bluetooth and of course an MP3 player.

The K618i’s display is only a 176×220 pixel unit, but this is an acceptable trade-off for the handset’s light weight and it will be good enough for most people. Overall, the K618i shows typically stylish Sony Ericsson design – it’s a smart looking device that is pretty unmistakable in its origins.
Nokia N95 Review
The Nokia N95 is a feature packed device, with a large 2.6″ 240×320 pixel display, 5 megapixel camera, HSDPA, WiFi/WLAN, UMTS and GPS-based satellite navigation. There’s a FM radio too.

Internal memory is an impressive 160Mb, and this can be expanded with hot swappable microSD cards. Of course, it’s an MP3 player, but you’ll also need plenty of space to store pictures taken with the 5 megapixel camera and video clips.
Motorola KRZR K1m CDMA Phone
The Motorola KRZR K1m is a CDMA version of the Motorola KRZR K1, but with a twist. Although on the surface, the KRZR K1m looks identical to the K1, it’s a very different handset underneath.

High speed data access is not the only thing that the KRZR K1m comes with – it also integrates GPS satellite positioning, which means that the KRZR K1m can deliver a variety of location-based services. The KRZR K1m also adds touch-sensitive multimedia controls on the outside of the device. However, unlike the GSM-based K1, the K1m only has a 1.3 megapixel camera.
