Several Axioo laptop and notebook Centaur NL series users have some problem which is blink on their display when the power cable has been unplug when it still on operation or used. The Axioo customer support said the solution only update the chipset driver to version 7.2.2.1006 and the graphic card display driver to version 6.14.4497.

Several Axioo NVG Series also have trouble in CD driver from Broadcom can’t be read and now the driver Broadcom alreday available in Axioo official website in the menu Axioo download. The graphic card and the chipset also aready on it. Please choose the operating system which one do you used.

If you one of the one who purchase Axioo Laptop product like me, here is 10 tips in English version to make your laptop more durable and long lasting:

1. Activated the Power Option Properties from Control Panel menu and choose Mode Portable/Laptop to make the battery more eficient. This option will set the laptop tom use any feature as needed.

2. When use the laptop with the battery, turn off the application which usually automatic. For example the wireless, webcam, CD/DVD drive so the battery more efficiently.

3. If you already used the notebook, make sure it’s already turn off/switch off and the sliding LCD screen position perfectly close. After that unplug all the external device from the connector, like mouse, LAN< VGA-out/projector, external loudspeaker or elses.

4. Don’t leave the laptop in extremely hot temperature, for example inside your parked car in the hot sunny day. This can influence the battery life.

5. Always use the original/legal software,whether for the operating system nor the application. Using pirated of carribean software is a criminal and violate the copyright. Axioo always include the Linux Recovery DVD software or original Microsoft Windows (certain type) .

6. To get wireless internet connection, please activated the Wi-Fi software to detect the nearest WIFI signal. If not applicable, you can use 3G GSM technology via cell phone or use PCMCIA.

7. Don’t use Internet Mobile Banking (such as klikBCA, Mandiri, Lippo-Net or PermataNet) at open WIFI network (open * free of charge) for example Mall, College, or any open place. This process is very vulnerable for hacking.

8. To clean the surface notebook chassis, spray the glass cleaner on the orange flannel and scrub carefully to all the surface include the LCD monitor. Do this every 2 weeks.

9. This day skin-printing stickers is favourite and put the sticker on the front of laptop chassis. But be careful because the process can be scratch or damage the protection layer of the chassis laptop.

10. Always use the main peripheral and device which Axioo recommend when upgrading or replace some part. This is to ensure the compatibility and performance of the laptop. Axioo always use Intel Processor, Seagate Momentus hard disk drive and lifetime memory Visipro RAM SODIMM.

10 Tips for Axioo Laptop Users

Actually I like Toshiba and the tough black IBM but Axioo really have a good design and performance. First time I saw Axioo at my friend house and he used SL 758i. It was a great laptop and I am not yet have a laptop and I like the design. It’s very stylish with silver crom in the pad and the cover. On that time I know Axioo lauch a laptop called CENTAUR Series.

It was 7-8 months ago, in March I looking arround several place and I just want to buy Axioo not the others. So when I see the NL series I think is worthed to have it. I calculate the price and it’s the cheapest price than another brand. But there was 2 series, with DVD combo or DVD-RW and you just add arround 65 USD to have DVD-RW. And I think more than 15 minutes and at then end I choose NL 758i Centaur. The price arround USD 765.

I really surprise about the heat reproduce by NL Series, I think because the Intel Speed Step technology so the processor would nnot prduce more heat and I can be warmly type anything without being heated Usually a new laptop with that price had not a build in camera but Axioo bring all their laptop with built in camera 1.3 megapixel. The quality, yeah..you can guest it, but you must not sped your money to buy a new one. The wireless connectivity quiet good and I test on some hotspot and it has a good performance rather than old version of ugly black Axioo .

But I must told you, this laptop only available in Indonesia and I am proud with my local brand.
