AMD redefines with Radeon 4670 and Radeon 4650 which means integrating graphic plates.

AMD fulfill their promises and officially launched a new series of graphic plates – ATI Radeon HD 4600 who intend to offer exceptional performance for games and multimedia HD, consumption of energy less than that of a bulb. And all this at a very attractive price for graphics from plates integrate category.

4600 series graphic plate versions are practically limited series of 4800, with what AMD has successfully overcome those of Nvidia. They are based on TeraScale graphics processor, built in 55 nm and with 320 stream processors which is a modification of RV770.

ATI Radeon HD 4670 runs at 750 MHz frequency nuclear memory to 2 GHz frequency, has a 256-bit memory, and may include 512 MB or 1 GB of GDDR3 memory. Less powerful version, ATI Radeon HD 4650, has a frequency of 600MHz nuclear, 1 GHz frequency memory, 128-bit memory and includes 512 MB of memory GDDR2.

Both plates have 320 stream processors, 32 texture units and support of DirectX 10.1 include Unified Video Decoder (UVD) 2.0 for the treatment of HD video and HDMI 7.1 audio.

Plates are reducing energy consumption, 60W for 4670 and 50W for 4650. The prices are very attractive, are smaller than initial estimates. So HD 4670 with 512 MB of memory costs $ 80 (with 1 GB version will appear later), and HD 4650 at a price of $ 60.

Initial reviews the performance of these gadgets seems to be excellent, given low energy consumption and prices. So HD 4670 is somewhere between HD Radeon 3650 or GeForce 9500 GT and Radeon HD 3850 or GeForce 9600 GT / GSO in some tests, even overcome.

The ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 not only prides itself on being the world’s fastest, but also card 2.4 teraflops of processing power on one card offering a cinematic experience. It owes its ultra-high speed for 2 GB of ultra-high bandwidth GDDR5 memory. It also proposes two GPU clocked at 750 MHz on the second generation of 55nm technology, and not forgetting the flows of 1600 processors. The unique feature of the 4870 X2 is that it offers eye definition rendering of the game in real-time activity.

AMD partner Sapphire just another stand-out version ATI Radeon HD 3870 Ultimate Edition, the radiator is of high quality and performance is still nothing to sneeze, but with all good products.

If you’re looking for a 3870 HD with a little unique, then cooled passively Sapphire’s Radeon 3870 Ultimate Edition HD might be what you want. Tweak Town have a complete map hands-on, verification and the results of more than 17 pages, in the final, they had this idea of saying “I’m really a fan of Sapphire HD 3870 Ultimate, the design of cooling is excellent and I hope they are doing something similar, 4K launch of the series cards AMD.

The HD 3870 is still a very capable, and with the popularity of Intel chipset Crossfire is rather an alternation of installation, then GPU SLI. They feel a little sorry for Sapphire, so slow with AMD in the market when a company like Sapphire, made some excellent products are not really been able to shine. Press thumb, that all this has changed when the 4K series of maps to begin later this month.

The only real problem with the sapphire-HD 3870 Ultimate, its funny way, because they seem not to really show off in the retail channel. The opportunities are there, is that Sapphire has received a little bored waiting for new models coming, so she decided to do something underway with the different Line-Up.

The HD 3870 is still a large map, but it is probably something worthwhile second-hand these days, a new purchase. If you can hunt the Ultimate version of Sapphire, as we say, do it yourself. Silent price is always a great feature.

From the performance improvement like RADEON HD 2600 and RADION HD2400 ( single and crossfire) show 6% improvement in 3DMark 2006 and 3D Mark 2005. Serious Sam 2 with HDR enabled improves as much as 14.5% on Radeon HD2900, Radeon HD2600 and Radeon HD2400 products.

From the final thoughts from Tweaktown team, ATI Catalyst 7.8 driver have knocked ball of the court and it’s absolutely fantastic driver for who wants to buy or already purchase HD 2600 from AMD.

Instead of the normal heatsink and cooling fan of the reference design there is just a small, simple heatsink that barely covers the GPU, while all the memory chips are left uncovered and cooled by the outside world. The only clue to what’s going on is the pair of 8mm heat pipes disappearing around the back of the card. These pipes are soldered onto a copper base plate which sits on top of the GPU.

One of the latest additions to this range is the Radeon X1650 Pro Ultimate, based – unsurprisingly – around the X1650 Pro and built on an attractive blue PCB. The X1650 Pro GPU (RV530) has 157 million transistors with just four pixel pipelines and five vertex shaders and the core running at 600MHz. Sapphire has kept the core clock at reference speed and the 256MB of GDDR3 is clocked at 700MHz (1,400MHz effective). The Infineon HYB18H512321AF-13 memory chips strangely do not appear on Infineon’s current product list, but from what is listed they would appear to be rated around 750MHz. But given that they are uncovered, you won’t be able to push them much anyway, even if you were thinking about doing a touch of overclocking with the X1650 Pro Ultimate.

In terms of performance, this card gives reasonable results when benched with two of the favoured games around; Half-Life 2 and F.E.A.R. When tested at 1,024 x 768 pixels with all filtering turned off but all gaming detail set to maximum, it returned a figure of 54fps in Half-Life 2, while F.E.A.R gave an average fps (frames per second) score of 62 with the same constraints.

Many have been waiting for the price / performance king for the current generation of VGA cards. In particular, many have been looking for the spiritual successor to the fabled 9550 GPU from ATi.

This 7300GT Sonic that we have received from Palit towards the higher end of the spectrum of 7300GT cards, coming with a clock speed of 500Mhz for the core and 1200MHz for the Memory using 128MB/128-bit DDR3 chips from Samsung. Sporting the traditional white cooler from Palit and coming with their improved build quality, this baby also comes with a Dual-link DVI port for connectivity to a display with a resolution of up to 2560 x 1600. Unlike most budget cards, the bundle in the package is of above average value, coming with the requisite DVI converter, TV-out dongle, Cyberlink’s PowerDVD and TOCA Race Driver 3 (a fairly recent game).

The 7300 GT GPU from NVIDIA seems primed to take this sweet spot, given the tremendous leeway that NVIDIA has permitted in the implementation of its design; allowing core clock speeds from 350-575Mhz and memory clock speeds from 667-1500Mhz (DDR2 or DDR3). As it uses the G73 core (similar to that of the mid-range 7600 series but with 4 fewer pixel pipelines), the 7300 GT is definitely distinct from the rest of its 7300 brethren.

One thing though, do notice Palit’s new “environmentally” friendly packaging. Other manufacturers should pay heed as there is no use of having a Rohs compliant device if your packaging reeks of non-recyclable materials.
