Averatec Voya 320 Perfect Functional GPS
August 6, 2007 | Gadgets, GPS Navigation | 1 CommentVoya 320 can reliably route you where you’re going, but it’s not a unit you’ll fall in love with. Blame the basic-looking maps or the stilted, computerized voice giving directions (or even the awful neon-green lettering used for street names in night mode).

You get a 1GB SD Card with the Voya 320, with 63MB of free space to store movies, music, or pictures. The interface for media playback is good, and selecting files is easy. Less impressive is the POI (points of interest) database: It’s hard to scroll through choices in the restaurant view, and it’s missing some important categories, such as post offices.
Despite providing all the routing information you need at a glance in its map view, the Voya 320 is never a pleasure to use. However, it’s a perfectly functional unit for those looking for a bargain-priced system
