Asus release a new netbook called Asus EEE PC 1008KR using Intel Pine Trail processor and it’s designed by Karim Rashid. The Asus EEE PC 1008KR powered by Intel Atom N450 (1.66 GHz) processor, 2GB of RAM, and 320GB of hard disk drive.

Another features like Intel GMA integrated graphic card, Intel NM10 Express chipset, and 3-cell battery with up to 5-hours life. The screen of Asus EEE PC 1008KR is 10.1-inch widescreen TFT LCD with 1024×600 pixel resolution.

Also Asus EEE PC equipped with SD/SDHC/MMC media card reader, two USB 2.0 port, D-Sub, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Ethernet port, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and Webcam. The price at 59,800 Yen Japan and available in Japan on 31 March 2010 with pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium OS 32bit.
