Apple iPhone at Russia via MBT
August 23, 2008 | Apple, Cellular Phone | Comments OffApple has agreed to a distribution agreement on the sale of iPhones with Mobile TeleSystems (MBT), Russia’s largest mobile operator.
According to the Reuters report, MTS has concluded an agreement with Apple on the sale of iPhones and Sales are likely to begin in October.
Monthly sales of these phones in Russia are estimated at approximately 20,000 and industry experts say the number of iPhones operating in Russia could total 700,000 by the end of 2008.
